Job Role - HR Advisor

Location - Sunderland

Jackson Hogg are looking to recruit a HR Advisor for a fantastic growing manufacturing company based in Sunderland.

Hours - Monday to Thursday - 7:00 - 4:15 and Friday 7:00 - 12:00

Main Responsibilities

A wide variety of duties will form part of the role including:

  • Monitoring of lateness and sickness (monthly sickness KPI)
  • Internal and external training
  • Recruitment
  • Investigation and Disciplinary issues
  • Performance and absence management
  • Completion of Health and Safety records
  • Income protection claims
  • Succession planning
  • Occupational health appointments
  • Carrying out inductions
  • Event planning
  • Payroll
  • Maintain policies and procedures
  • Ad Hoc duties as required

Requirements

  • Experience in a unionised environment
  • Good understanding of employment law
  • Previous experience at Advisor level
  • Strong problem solving and decision making abilities.
  • Level 5 CIPD is desirable

It is expected that the successful candidate will have a good level of relevant experience, excellent communication and IT skills.

This is a flexi-time contract working 40 hours per week.
