Human Resources Advisor - Southport area

Everpool Recruitment is working with an expanding and successful business with global reach and international offices, offering career and progression, job security and support with further CIPD qualifications.

We are looking for either Qualified By Experience or CIPD Level 3-5 or a Graduate who has studied Human Resources to work on a range of responsibilities. You may also be in HR Administration and ready to take the next step in your career with a business that likes to promote from within.

As HR Assistant, you will be responsible for the following:

Coordinating the on boarding process for new starters including collating new starter paperwork, reference requests, and carrying out right to work checks, issuing employment contracts and formal notices of termination.
Responsible for administering the end of probation process, acknowledging receipt of resignation letters, scheduling exit interviews.
Monitoring the processing of sickness and absence, ensuring that the relevant management procedures are being followed.
Providing basic advice to managers and employees on HR policies and processes - ensuring best practice (with the support/guidance of the HR Manager)
Preparing monthly HR and People Data e.g., Assisting with preparation of the monthly attendance report for HO
Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation
Keep up to date with employment Law

What skills & experience you’ll bring to the team

  • Qualified by Experience in people services or CIPD Level 3-5 qualification, or a graduate in Human Resources
  • Experience with general HR office duties
  • Excellent people skills
  • The ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues
  • Handle highly confidential information in an honest and trustworthy way
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Payroll experience or exposure beneficial
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills, IT Literate with the ability to use a range of packages applicable to the role
  • An enthusiastic and outwardly positive individual
  • Ability to meet deadlines and independently prioritise workload
  • The individual should have a desire to continuously pursue innovation and development
