Group People Advisor- TUPE Specialist

Hybrid Working - Chorley Office Location

Up to £38K depending on experience.

The Role and Position Overview:

As Group People Advisor you will play a pivotal role in facilitating smooth and compliant TUPE journeys from acquisition to post transfer for each employee.

You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders across departments to execute seamless transfers of employees while safeguarding their rights and maintaining a positive employee experience.

For each new acquisition, you will play a key role in their TUPE journey by providing first class HR generalist support throughout each process and placing great focus and attention into the integration aspect of the transfer.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing expert guidance and support to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies, along with ensuring effective communication, understanding and a seamless and positive transfer.

Supporting ongoing aspects of acquisition onboarding and integration to business support to all managers and employees whilst promoting HR best practice

Conduct thorough due diligence assessments to identify risks and opportunities.

Develop comprehensive communication plans to keep all affected parties informed throughout the TUPE process.

Provide strategic advice to senior management on HR implications of acquisitions and integration strategies.

Support the integration of new employees into the organisation post-transfer, including onboarding and culture alignment.

Stay up to date with changes in employment law and best practices related to TUPE and proactively advise on implications for the business.

Managing multiple projects with multiple deadlines.

Ideal Person Spec:

HR certification, CIPD Level 5 preferred.

Recent HR advisory experience to include TUPE transfers, preferably within fast-paced, high-growth environments and confident with acquisitions and consultations processes.

HR Advisory experience dealing with range of ER queries, AWOL, Probation, Disciplinary and Grievance

Solid understanding of TUPE regulations and their application in various scenarios, including business transfers and service provision changes.

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple acquisitions simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex situations and provide practical solutions.

High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive employee information.

Self-starter, highly organised and ability to adapt to multiple priorities.
