We are thrilled to partner with our client, a highly respected large business, with a fantastic reputation. The role of HR Advisor is actually more of a Junior HR Business Partner. Working in a vibrant HR team, who are highly respected in the business, you will provide support and guidance to a wide range of mangers and leaders, with credibility and confidence.

What’s involved:

Provide Employee Relations advice, coaching and support to managers on HR polices including:

  • Performance management
  • Reorganisations, contract changes, redundancy consultation process, flexible working requests, etc.
  • Sickness absence, including referrals to Occupational Health
  • Working with managers to ensure the business attracts, recruits and retains the best talent in line with equal opportunities legislation
  • Provide management information to Senior Managers to contribute to business decisions
  • Be involved in the design and delivery of training and development activities relating to employment legislation and policy updates
  • You will have exposure to small scale TUPE, union negotiations, and restructures, experience isn’t necessary

Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed:

  • Strong ER experience in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • Evidence of supporting managers with performance and capability issues
  • Well-developed influencing, facilitation and negotiating skills
  • Evidence of dealing with complex employee relations issues
  • Evidence of excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and deliver across a range of work activities and juggle a busy workload
  • Excellent communicator, at all levels
  • Excellent team player
  • CIPD qualified
  • A good sense of humour!
