Our client is a household name based in Woking, Surrey. They are seeking to recruit an experienced HR Advisor on a permanent basis.


This role could be full time, otherwise our client understands flexibility and is happy to recruit this on a 4-day week part time. The salary for this role is £38,000-£42,000.

The role of HR Adviser will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to team members and managers on a range of HR-related matters. This role requires a strong understanding of ER, HR policies, procedures, and regulations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

Act as the first point of contact for any queries and concerns related to policies, procedures and employment conditions.
Provide guidance and support to team members and managers on HR related matters
Take ownership and coordinate any employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and investigations
Review monthly absence data and work with managers to ensure the attendance management process is applied appropriately.
Assist with hiring processes, supporting to ensure we source the best candidates, every time.
Ensure new team members receive a positive onboarding experience by working closely with hiring managers to prepare a structured induction plan and maintain contact with new team members prior to day one
Oversee the Personal Performance Management process from quality of goals to completion analysis.
Coach people managers and provide guidance on goal setting, performance evaluations, and identifying when performance requires improvement.
Support the delivery of HR fundamentals training and work closely with our L&D team to introduce first line manager training.
Support the roll out of the employee survey twice per year, assist with analysing data and work with the key stakeholders to build meaningful action plans to drive improvements
Work in partnership with the internal communications team to support UKI initiatives around employee wellbeing.

Requirements

Experienced HR Advisor with ER experience
In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, processes and employment laws
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
