This role will require regular travel to offices across the South East, including Billiercay, South Ockendon, Stevenage & Eastleigh, as well as weekly presence within your 'home' office base (depending on location.)

There will also be adhoc travel to our Taunton office required on occasion (covered by expenses.)

Salary: Up to £35,000.00 (Depending on Experience and Qualification Status)

Qualifications:

  • GCSE Maths & English at Grade C/Level 4 or above
  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent HR Qualification)

About You:

The ideal candidate will:

  • be level 5 CIPD Qualified
  • act as an exemplar of our Company values and encourage positive culture
  • have the ability to work both discreetly and confidentially

  • have excellent interpersonal, listening, relationship management and communication skills
  • be organised, resourceful and deadline driven
  • provide support to our line managers and our people
  • be willing to travel on a regular basis to be present within our other sites

About the Role:

Lloyd & Whyte Group are pleased to be recruiting for a South East based HR Consultant.

The Group is constantly evolving, with really exciting prospects on the horizon across the business, both imminently and over the next few years. Within this role, you will help to support our People Development Team with a plethora of HR related duties to ensure our people can effectively adapt and evolve with the business, as we continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve individual objectives and key performance indicators as set and agreed
  • Understand the People Development strategy and assist in the delivery of its goals
  • Role model our Company values and encourage a positive culture
  • Deliver a comprehensive human resources service and provide support to line managers and our people
  • Deliver HR and L&D initiatives and solutions to promote best practice and business effectiveness in our people
  • Understand and develop awareness and knowledge of external HR development and changes in legislation
  • Compile accurate and timely communication to people with employment life cycle updates such as changes in terms of contract, remuneration, flexible working etc.
  • Maintain effective systems and records to provide accurate HR Management Information
  • Build proactive working relationships with colleagues and encourage best HR and L&D practices
  • Facilitate a comprehensive recruitment, on-boarding and professional development service to our people
  • Process payroll and keep abreast of changes in legislation
  • Colleague engagement & well-being
  • Support colleagues from all areas of the business as required
