Housing Officer

We are looking for a Housing Officer who can oversee the specialist supported housing programme, in this hybrid-working role.

Position: Housing Officer

Location: Stanmore/Hybrid working

Job type: Permanent

Hours: Full time, 35 hours a week

Salary: £29 - £32,000 per annum

Closing Date: 22nd May 2024

The Role

As Housing Officer, you will handle the day-to-day management and maintenance of houses, engaging with tenants and contractors, monitoring and acting on arrears and line-managing the tenant support officer.

About You

You’ll understand the importance of suitable housing and be passionate about making that a reality for tenants. With excellent communication and administrative skills, you will be tenacious at ensuring works are carried out on time and be comfortable juggling a busy and varied workload.

The Organisation

Every four hours, someone is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. Join a national charity that provides practical support to those affected and the Supported Housing Programme, which a key service.
