Housekeeping Assistant

Location: Duchy Hospital, Cornwall

Hours: 22.5 hours per week, Part-time

Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits

Summary:
Duchy Hospital is Cornwall's only private hospital with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare treatments and services. Duchy Hospital was opened in 1981 by the late HRH Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother and is located in a pleasant rural setting on the outskirts of Truro.

By investing in advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. The two fully equipped ultra clean air theatres are particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures such as arthroscopy, hip replacement and knee replacements. The hospital is also equipped with a day case theatre, with endoscopy facilities.

A wide range of diagnostic and treatment facilities are available including x-ray, MRI, ultrasound, physiotherapy, sports injury clinic, continence and health screening.

The Role:

We are have a great opportunity for an Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Duchy Hospital. This is an exciting and important operational support role working across departments to facilitate the efficient and timely required hygiene standards.

As an integral and valued member of our housekeeping team, you will be required to assist in maintaining the hospitals outstanding reputation for quality and cleanliness.  A good understanding of Hospital Infection prevention processes would be advantageous.
