Housekeeper - Private Estate

The Burford Recruitment Company are proud to present a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper to work in the beautiful Cotswolds for a private family.

The ideal candidate will work alongside the Head Housekeeper and housekeeping team to ensure that the house is constantly well-maintained to a high standard. We are looking someone who has an eye for detail and takes pride in their work!

The busy and friendly housekeeping team, work on a rotational basis, which includes working occasional weekends on rotation or if there is a dinner party, event or similar.

This role is working for an UHNW family who have a fully staffed household, so a team player is key and paramount to the success of the role.

Your housekeeping duties will be (but not limited to);

• Maintaining order and cleanliness throughout the family home
• All required housekeeping
• Laundry, ironing, packing and unpacking fine clothing
• Dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping
• Cleaning of family bathroom(s)
• Restocking personal item(s)
• Reporting any issue(s) found to the Head Housekeeper

• Prior experience working in private house in a similar housekeeping role
• Excellent command of the English language

• Punctuality and reliability
• Positive energy, self-motivated and proactive

This full-time permanent position is 5 days per week (circa 40 hours)

The package will include an excellent salary depending upon experience, Company Pension Scheme, Private Health care and additional holiday allowance

Due to the rural location, your own transport is essential.
