Household Claims Handler - Private Clients

Pavilion Recruitment are delighted to be offering this new role of Household Claims Handler to the market. The successful candidate will get the opportunity to join the Surrey offices of this International Brokerage who in turn have a very well-known name in the UK broking market.

As a dedicated Claims Handler within a Broking environment, you will be working in a small dedicated in-house team of claims handlers, working on an assigned portfolio of Mid to High-Net-worth Clientele Household claims from 'cradle to grave’, acting in the best interests of your client.

You will work on a variety of claims perils to include Flood, Escape of Water, Fire & Theft, Accidental Damage and more, working on cases upto£2m in value.

You will work with granted delegated authority to settle claims upto£30,000.

You will manage the claim from initial instruction, completing numerous administrative tasks, liaising with insurers, gathering evidence, repudiating when necessary, attending claims meetings, managing diaries and producing quarterly claims reports.

In return for your hard work, this company will provide you with ongoing claims training provided by a fellow colleague - a superstar within the business.

To apply you will need to have insurance claims handling experience - Ideally Household, however candidates that have settled Travel and Motor claims are also encouraged to apply.
