Hotel Operations Manager

Operations Manager (hotel with a food and beverage bias) required forour client a hotel in the Haywards Heath area. Transport may be desirable due to the shift work and also location. This is a live out role.

The ideal candidate for the role of Operations Manager will benefit from having previously held a role of F&B Supervisor or a Duty Manager type role within a busy Food and Beverage orientated property. The role will require that you are responsible for all areas whilst on a designated duty shift, including reception / food and beverage / conference and banqueting / weddings service and front of house.

As Operations Manager you are part of the management team at the hotel and you will ensure the smooth running of this hotel on a day to day rota basis which does include week-ends. Shift work will be involved working 5 days out of 7 - early and late shift. You will be part of the duty management team within this hotel and your role will be hands on.

The role of Operations Manager:

• Full time
• 5 days over 7 mix of early and late shifts- Early - 6.45-15.15, Late - 14.30-23.00. Some variations according to functions , weddings.
• Duties: Being in charge of the hotel on your shift ensuring all our guests are looked after in the correct manner, looking after food and beverage operations, looking after meeting and function organisers, running functions, weddings.
• Organising team members to ensure the complete hotel operation is covered.
• This is a hands-on role supporting and working with the team
• Full training is provided
• Possible occasional Night Supervisor cover, as needed between the hours of 23.00-07.30
• Salary £26,500 / per annum / 42.5 hrs a week / overtime paid above these if worked / and a potential annual bonus. Plus a salary review in April 2024
• Immediate start

Live out only. Transport is desirable due to shift work and location.
