About Us: We are a prestigious 4-star luxury hotel nestled amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the Isle of Skye. Our property boasts stunning views, elegant interiors, and exceptional service. As we expand our business with exciting new sites planned for the future, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Manager to lead our team and move into a cluster manager role within three years.

Position Overview: As the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our hotel operations. You’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining our high standards, enhancing guest experiences, and driving business growth. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our journey as we evolve into a Group of multiple properties.



Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

Lead and manage all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.

Ensure seamless day-to-day operations, maintaining the highest levels of service excellence.

Collaborate with department heads to optimise efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Guest Experience:

Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Address guest feedback promptly and proactively.

Oversee guest services, ensuring exceptional experiences from check-in to check-out.

Financial Management:

Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and maximize revenue.

Implement cost-effective strategies while maintaining quality standards.

Staff Management:

Recruit, train, and mentor staff members.

Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and development for FOH where required

Sales and Marketing:



Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the hotel and attract guests.

Participate in sales efforts, including corporate partnerships and group bookings.

Identify opportunities for revenue growth.

Health and Safety Compliance:

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Implement and monitor COVID-19 safety protocols.

Property Maintenance:



Oversee maintenance and repairs, ensuring the property is well-maintained.

Coordinate with contractors and suppliers.

Future Expansion:



Contribute to the development and openings of new sites on Skye with the business owner.

Prepare for the transition to a Group General Manager role.

Qualifications/Requirements:



Proven experience as a Hotel Manager in a luxury hotel setting.

Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Knowledge of UK and Scotland seasonal hospitality market and luxury travel trends.

Ability to ignite passion and energy into hotel team.
