Hotel Maintenance Assistant

We are actively recruiting for a Maintenance Operative to work for a hotel based on the outskirts of the Milton Keynes area. This position is full-time, however, the working hours will vary dependant on business requirements. Please note, some weekend work will be included.

The Maintenance Team is the heart of the hotel as they assist all other departments with the smooth running of the hotel. Within this role you be providing both reactive and proactive maintenance for all areas of the hotel including rooms and public areas. This position would suit a candidate that has a trade (e.g. builder plumber, carpenter, electrician) looking to diversify.

Duties:

• Completing day to day routine bedroom and preventative maintenance checks within the hotel.
• Carrying out weekly, and monthly health and safety checks.
• Handling internal repairs, which would including D.I.Y, painting, etc.

• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrics is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Understanding of health & safety processes.
• Flexible approach to work.
• Willing to work weekends.
