Hospice General Nurse

Role and Responsibilities:As a General Hospice Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort, dignity, and well-being of our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualised care plans.
• Symptom Management: Provide expert symptom management, pain control, and end-of-life care. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and address patient discomfort.
• Emotional Support: Offer emotional support to patients and their families. Listen actively, provide counselling, and facilitate open communication.
• Education and Advocacy: Educate patients and families about their condition, treatment options, and advanced care planning. Advocate for patients' wishes and preferences.
• Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and other team members to ensure seamless care coordination.

What you need to succeed:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing licence in the United Kingdom.
• Experience in palliative care, hospice, or a related field.
• Compassion, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
• The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Full right to work in the UK
• 1 year experience in the UK as a RGN

Pay rates:
Monday to Friday 06:00- 18:00 £21.21 PH
Nights 18:00 - 06:00 and Saturdays 00:00 - 00:00 £24.57 PH
Sundays and Bank Holidays 00:00 - 00:00 £28.80 PH
