Homeless Waking Night Assessment Hub Worker

Morgan Hunt, working in partnership with one of the leading homelessness charities in London, have a great opportunity for a Homeless Waking Night Assessment Hub Worker working within a busy assessment hub supporting clients experiencing homelessness in a north London borough. Our client is looking for an experienced and proactive individuals to join their vibrant team offering support to vulnerable male and female clients with complex support needs overnight, assessing new referrals being made by street outreach teams and StreetLink.

Candidate requirements:

  • Previous experience working within a hostel supporting clients experiencing homelessness with a high needs client group
  • Experience in supporting clients with a variety of support issues including homelessness, drug and or alcohol abuse, mental health and offending histories
  • Ability to work waking night shifts
  • An enhanced DBS check issued within the last 12 months or registered to the online update service

Responsibilities Include:

  • Offering advice and guidance on a range of support issues when approached by clients with complex support needs
  • Informal keyworking of clients
  • Health and safety checks of the building overnight
  • Conducting well-being checks on all residents throughout the night especially those identified as vulnerable
