This is an exciting opportunity to lead a specialist team of reporters delivering high impact stories, working for one of Britain's most trusted news providers.

They have a strong and growing digital subscriber audience as well as a heathy print circulation.

The role:

• Lead a team of reporters in a busy environment, providing them with constructive feedback in order to provide maximum impact
• Manage a mix of reactive exclusive chases on the agenda, news features and long term investigations
• Take responsibility for the end-to-end management of complex stories and present these daily
• Foster a successful team, ensuring they are meeting digital subscription goals

You will have:

• Experience working on a Daily and National publication/ channel
• A strong track record (ideally 5-7 years) of leading experienced reporters
• Experience and a passion for investigative journalism
• A demonstrable ability to get challenging stories and investigations over the line
• A deep understanding of digital publishing best practice, media law and Ipso guidelines
