Hoist Operator

Are you an experienced hoist operative looking for your next challenge? We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual to join our team on a contract basis in the Wakefield area. This is a temporary role that offers a great chance to work on exciting projects and contribute to the success of our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and control hoisting equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure the smooth and timely transportation of materials and personnel to various levels on construction sites.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on hoisting equipment and report any defects or issues promptly.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate hoisting activities effectively.
• Perform routine maintenance on hoisting equipment as required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a hoist operative in a construction or industrial setting.
• Valid CPCS or NPORS hoist operator certification.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to hoisting operations.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
