Are you passionate about bringing history to life for students? Hays Education are currently working alongside a Ofsted-rated 'Good' secondary school in the borough of Newham, East London. We are looking to source a History teacher (able to teach GCSE level) for a position starting from September 2024 at a Ofsted rated 'Good' Secondary School in Newham.

About Our School:

  • Conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from Upton Park Tube Station (District Line / Hammersmith Line).
  • Car parking facilities are available for staff.

Role Overview:

  • Teach history to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students.
  • Permanent position starting in September 2024.
  • Competitive salary scale: M1 through UPS3.
  • Immediate interviews available.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Enthusiasm for making history engaging and relevant.
  • Effective communication and classroom management skills.
