Stevenage, Hertfordshire - History Teacher - Education and Training

Academics are working with a Secondary school in Stevenage and are currently recruiting for a History Teacher on a full-time basis to teach History to key stage 3 and 4. This role is a permanent role starting from September. I am keen to hear from History Teachers who have a passion for History / Humanities and be committed to providing a high-quality learning experience for students.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate students.
• Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Keep up to date with the latest developments in History education, incorporating new techniques and technologies into teaching practice where appropriate.
• Foster a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and self-expression.

Requirements:

• Qualified teacher status (QTS), (ECT) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching History to students of all ages and abilities
• Enhanced DBS
• Rights to work in the UK
• NQTs welcome
