Tradewind are recruiting a History teacher to work at a school in the Lewisham area. The teacher will be needed to start in September 2024 and initially last up until the end of the academic year 2025, with an option to be taken on a full school-based contact, should the initial term in the role be a success.

The History teacher will be required to work full time and deliver content to KS3 and KS4 pupils. The school does have some poor behavior but, on the whole, is a good place to work. The department pride themselves on being supportive and you will get plenty of help from seniors. ECT's are welcome to apply for the position.

The role

  • Working at a school in the Lewisham area.
  • History teacher needed until summer 2025.
  • ECT's welcome to apply.
  • Payments are made on a PAYE or umbrella, your choice.
  • Opportunity to gain a full school-based contract.

To commute to the school, there are nearby main road links which are accessible for staff members. Further there is a free onsite car park which is free to be use by staff. Alternatively, there are local bus links to the area as well as a tube line which can be an option but is still a 20-minute walk away when off.
