Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Tradewind are working with a friendly and supportive primary school in Havering who for searching for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) that is confident to cover all year groups, holds strong subject knowledge and has extensive experience leading interventions. This would be a full-time, long-term post starting in May 2024 until the end of the academic year with pay rates between £90 to £100 a day.

Requirements:

• Have experience leading classes and small group interventions.
• Hold strong behaviour management skills, with experience using positive strategies to manage behaviour, recognising success.
• Hold strong subject knowledge, including knowledge of phonics and early reading and a strong understanding of UKS2 Maths.
• Have experience working with SEN.
• Available 8.30 - 3.30, Monday to Friday
• Live within commutable distance of Havering borough.
