Higher Level Teaching assistant |Monday - Friday | ASAP Start | £380 - £440 Take Home Pay | NG5

LTF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a primary school based in the Nottingham (Arnold) area.

The role involves overseeing classes of 25 - 30 students while they complete work that has been previously set for them by an absent teacher. You will be required to oversee the completion of work within a variety of different subjects including phonics and numeracy. The school expect their cover supervisors to support learners academic progress where possible whilst maintaining high behaviour standards and upholding behaviour expectations.

The school are looking for a candidate who can commit to working on a full-time basis and who can be flexible and willing to get involved within a variety of subjects across the school's curriculum.

The candidate we are looking for:

  • Holds a relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working as a HLTA within a primary school setting is highly desirable.
  • A desire to make a difference to students and their education. Knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum and its application for primary-aged children.
  • Experience in supporting children with special educational needs, including knowledge of different learning styles and strategies.
