HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT (HLTA)

We are working closely with schools in the St Austell area who are looking for HLTAs to become part of their team. You will be joining a dynamic and enthusiastic team which is effectively managed to help create an inspirational and creative learning environment for the children.

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant Qualifications
  • At least 3 months' experience within a school in the last 5 years
  • A genuine passion and interest in working with children
  • The right candidate will have a passion for making a difference, and be committed to creating a safe learning environment in the absence of the normal class teacher.

The role involves supervision of a variety of different subjects during a teacher’s absence. You will be responsible for registering the class, supervising and supporting the students, making sure they stay on track with the tasks set and managing the behaviour of the classroom.
