Hays Education are working with a lovely primary school near Mansfield in North Nottinghamshire who are looking for a higher-level teaching assistant to join their team asap.

Your new role
Within this role, you will be working as part of a team to support and manage the classroom. Your main duties will include, supervising and managing behaviour and learning, preparing resources and the classroom, covering lessons when the teacher is absent, handing out materials and tools necessary, and providing additional support where required. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of students by overseeing the general running of the classroom and ensuring a secure and productive learning environment is maintained.

What you\'ll need to succeed
In order to succeed within this role, you will have:

• Recent and relevant experience within a similar position
• A relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent
• Confidence in your ability to support the general running of the classroom
• A flexible attitude and take a holistic approach
• Ability to use your initiative
