The Role:

They are currently searching for a dynamic and passionate HLTA who possesses both the qualifications and hands-on experience to make a positive impact in students' lives. As a valued member of the team, you will work closely with their experienced educators, aiding in the development and implementation of engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of our students.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a TA in an SEN setting.
  • A relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent.
  • A profound understanding of behaviour management strategies and experience in implementing them effectively.
  • Expertise in supporting students with complex needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities, and other developmental challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
  • The ability to create a nurturing and inclusive environment, fostering a sense of belonging for every child.

Responsibilities:

As a dedicated HLTA at our school, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of differentiated lessons that cater to individual learning styles and abilities.
  • Assisting students in their personal, social, and emotional development.
  • Implementing behaviour management plans to promote a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere.
  • Collaborating with the teaching team to assess students' progress and providing valuable feedback.
  • Contributing to the school's ethos of inclusivity and celebrating the unique talents of every student.
  • Building strong relationships with students and families, offering support and guidance where needed.
