HLTA - 16+ Further Education - Brent

Timeplan is currently working with a fantastic SEN school dedicated to tutoring and mentoring over 16+ students that have been out of mainstream education for 3 years or more due traumatic experiences that has lead to high levels of anxiety, that are now being reintroduced via the service into education to enhance their educational progression and influence better future outcomes throughout the Brent borough.

We are currently looking for an experienced HLTA (High Level Teaching Assistant) with a background of working and supporting young Adults with ASD and extreme anxiety.

Your role as a HLTA (High level Teaching Assistant) will be to help these young adults resume their education and be intergrated back into every day life in the community.

Resposbilities:

  • A history of excellent teaching practice.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Assist teachers in classroom instruction and management.
  • Provide guidance and support to students.
  • Assist with the preparation of materials for instruction.
  • Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
  • Assist in the implementation of individualised learning plans for students.
  • Administer tests and assessments to students.
  • Assist with the development of lesson plans and other instructional materials.
