Wild Recruitment are looking to recruit HGV Refuse drivers in the Southampton area who are interested in driving refuse trucks to collect house hold waste.

This HGV Refuse Driver role is temporary

£16.50ph on Umbrella

Shifts are Monday - Friday, 6am to 4pm

What you will be doing as a HGV Refuse driver:

  • Driving a mixture of 7.5t and Class 2 Refuse trucks to collect waste from residential and commercial properties.
  • Working as part of a 3 man crew
  • You will need to carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
  • You must comply with health and safety procedures and policies at all times.

What we need from you:

  • Current C LGV Licence and valid Drivers CPC and DQC
  • The ability to undertake heavy lifting as you may need to assist with loading of the vehicle
  • Ready to take the initiative and work as part of a team
  • You will need to attend and pass a driving assessment before you can start this role
