HGV Fitter - Port Talbot, South Wales

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Swansea for a HGV Fitter for a new permanent position.


This is a great opportunity to join a company who have been established for nearly 30 years, who are currently enjoying a sustained period of growth in the industrial, haulage, and environmental industry.

The ideal candidate:

We have a great opportunity for an experienced and motivated HGV Fitter based at Port Talbot. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in this field.

Key attributes:

  • Recognised apprenticeship.
  • Fully skilled in all aspects of repairs and maintenance.
  • Vacuuming and Jetting equipment experience desirable.
  • Ability to work to a high standard both independently and as part of a multi-disciplined team within a busy workshop environment.
  • Complete job cards with accurate detail of work completed.
  • Demonstrate a positive safety culture at all times.
  • Work effectively as a member of the team.
  • Promote high levels of customer service and professionalism at all times.
  • Full Driving Licence.

Package:

· 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

· Overtime and weekend work may be required.

· Company van.

· Auto enrolled onto the company pension scheme.

· 30 days holiday per year inclusive of Bank holidays.

The successful candidate will be subject to their induction process which will include drug and alcohol testing.
