HGV Class 2 Driver

HGV class 2 driver/FLT counterbalance driver 

HGV2 class 2 driver/FLT counterbalance driver required for one of the largest suppliers of raw pet food in the UK. Located in Alfreton, the company have been operating for 8 years and deliver nationally.

The role:

• Shunting from one yard to another (around 100-200 yards away from each other) to move products on a class 2 truck
• Move pallets with the use of a FLT counterbalance 
• Stack products with the use of a FLT counterbalance 
• Working in despatch 
• Any other duties that are required to meet business needs

Requirements for the role

• Valid driving licence with C entitlement 
• Valid CPC and tacho card
• FLT counterbalance licence preferred but not essential as long as you have experience (will also take in-house licence)
• No more than 6 points on driving licence 
• Safety boots & hi-vis vest 

Hours of work

• Monday to Friday
• 06:30am - 15:00pm
