HGV Class 1 Night Driver Required

HGV Class 1 Night Drivers - Portsmouth - £17.50 - £21.50ph PAYE

Drivertemps Limited are recruiting for HGV Class 1 Night trunk drivers to work within our fantastic and long serving client who are a Portsmouth based chilled distribution company.

The Role:

• Required to drive to and from one of 3 retail distribution centres.
• Load and return to the depot in Portsmouth.
• This role involves driving on occasion Double decker trailers so good geographical knowledge is essential.

Experience & Knowledge:

• You should have ideally held your HGV 1 Licence for a minimum 6 months
• No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions
• Hold a current valid DCPC Card.
• Understand and able to comply with Drivers hours and WTD legislation.
• Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.
• Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
• Good geographical knowledge of the south of England.
• Have the experience and knowledge to be able to divert cross country to and from locations as and when signs, traffic or other conditions dictate.

Remuneration: PAYE

• £17.50 per hour Monday - Friday Nights £140.00 paid per shift 8 hr shift
• £18.75 per hour Saturday £150.00 paid per average 8 hr shift
• £21.25 per hour Sunday £170.00 paid per average 8 hr shift
