24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for experienced Part Time HGV Class 1 Drivers on behalf of our client to join our well-known client's distribution site based in Severn Beach, Bristol (BS35 4DF).

HGV Class 1 Driver position can be a mixture of delivering stock or the trunking of trailers, all in a safe and timely manner. If delivering then you will be delivering to a maximum of 3 stores per shift. You will be delivering a mixture of pallets, totes or cages to large department stores. The stock can vary from everyday household items to clothing to furniture. If trunking, this is the swapping or live load/unload of trailers around the UK.

Part Time HGV Class 1 Shift Rota:

• Flexible Days - If you are looking for just a few days per week
• AM or PM Shifts available.

Part Time HGV Class 1 Driver Will Need to Ensure:

• The safe delivery of goods to each store into the designated loading areas.
• Ensuring the goods being delivered match against the delivery paperwork.
• The collection of empty trays, pallets or cages.
• Provide a high level of customer service that is always maintained.
• Follow all company procedures and ensuring the accurate completion of all paperwork with each shift.
• Abide by Health & Safety at all times to ensure you work in a manner that keeps you and your colleagues safe.
• Always notify the Central Office at the earliest opportunity of any delays to your deliveries or if you are unable to make a delivery for any reason.

Part Time HGV Class 1 Driver Required Skills:

• Hold a valid a C+E License
• Hold a valid Tacho and CPC card
• No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)
• Have a minimum of 6 months commercial driving experience
• Assessment required prior to starting

Part Time PAYE Rates for HGV Class 1 Driver in Bristol:

• Monday to Friday - £17-£18
• Saturday - £20 per hour
• Sunday - £22 per hour
• Overtime After 48 hours - £22.50

This position is commutable from: Bristol, Weston-Super-Mare, Bath, Gloucester, Newport, Cardiff, Chepstow
