Position: Class 1 C+E Day Driver (HGV 1 Driver)

We have the following shift available with our reputable client based in Heathrow: 
  • 4 On and 4 Off (Days and Weekends)
  • 10 - 12 Hours Shifts

Salary Range: £15.50 - £18.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Sunday

Job Description:

As a Class 1 C+E driver, you will play a crucial role in our logistics team, ensuring the safe and efficient transport of goods across various destinations. Your responsibilities will include:

Driving Expertise: Operating Class 1 vehicles with C+E licenses safely and responsibly.

Route Planning: Planning and executing delivery routes with precision to meet schedules and deadlines.

Load Management: Safely loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.

Compliance: Adhering to all relevant traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.

Vehicle Maintenance: Conducting routine vehicle inspections and reporting any issues promptly.

Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
  • Hold a valid Class 1 C+E driving license for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Hold a valid CPC and Digi tachograph card.
  • Five-year checkable work history
  • Clean and Valid DBS Check (must be within 10 weeks)
  • No more than 6 points on the licence
  • Cargo Operative Certificate (desirable not essential)
