Class 2 Driver

Vanta Staffing Reading is recruiting an HGV Class 2 Driver to work for our client based in the Reading area. This will involve multi-drop work, a perfect role for drivers who want a permanent position with a prestigious company.

Requirements of an HGV Class 2 Driver:

  • Minimum 12 months HGV driving (Cat C) recent experience.
  • Be able to complete 6-8 drops + 4-5 collections (pallet deliveries)
  • Have a valid CPC and digi tacho
  • No more than 6 points (No DR or IN)

Details:

  • Salary: £16ph – Days / £18.70ph – Overtime / £33,500 once permanent 
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday (early starts)
  • Location: Reading
  • Duration: Temp to Perm

Role of an HGV Class 2 Driver:

  • Complete 6-8 drops + 4-5 collections (pallet deliveries)
  • Complete vehicle checks
  • Being flexible and able to complete runs safely
