Heavy Plant Fitter Required

Package/ Benefits:

  • Salary is £30k-£37k per.
  • The role is permanent and full time.
  • Overtime available
  • Use of Company Van when required

  • Work a Mon-Fri 40 hour week

Job Role:

Working on Heavy machinery within the Construction & concrete industry. Carry out repairs on machinery, Diagnose Faults, Service, Make sure all work is done to Health Safety Standards, Making sure the customer needs are to a high standard. We have a really good opportunity for someone who is looking to progress in a career and enhance their skillset. The successful candidate would need their own tool kit.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • The applicant will need to have experience working on heavy machinery
  • Be confident in the repair and maintenance
  • Candidates from Recycling Industry plant hire/rental companies and construction will be prioritised!
  • Experience from a mechanical or engineering background
  • Must have experience in Fault Finding
  • Must have "Will do, Can do attitude"
  • Ability to work unsupervised..
  • Desirable Experience; NVQ in Plant / HGV / Agriculture, Heavy Plant Repair/ Maintenance (3 years)
