Adept are delighted to be working with a leading Oil & Gas manufacturer based in Sheffield who are looking for a Heat Treatment Operative to join their team.

The client have experienced rapid growth within the past year and due to this are looking to expand their shop floor team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Goods receipt & despatch of material to ensure trace ability of material through correct use of administration procedure
  • ID material before & after heat treatment, highlight & report any anomalies, to charge-hand and or Heat Treatment Manager.
  • Charger makeup/break down - Ensure correct make-up of charger in line with Heat Treatment reports.
  • Straightening / Brinelling - Working to deadlines to meet with customer demand.
  • To work in accordance with the Company’s Health & Safety & Environment Policies.
  • To work in accordance with the Company’s safe systems of work & procedures, to ensure safety of self & others.
  • All near miss / environmental incidents reported to Heat Treatment Manager.

Pay: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
