Calisen is expanding its range of activities in line with its mission to deliver Smarter Energy for All. Plug Me In – Heat is Calisen’s first step into low carbon heat and establishing a nationwide heat pump business.

We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide expert technical support for air source heat pump installations. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers and internal teams with troubleshooting, problem-solving, and providing guidance on the installation, maintenance, and operation of air source heat pump systems. Your in-depth knowledge and expertise in this field will be crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and the successful operation of our products.

What our Technical Support Engineer will receive…

  • £35k - £40k salary (depending on experience)
  • Monday – Friday 42.5 hrs, working from the Calisen Smarter Energy Academy in Ashton-in-Makerfield
  • 30 Days holiday incremental to 33 days with yearly service (inclusive of Bank holidays)
  • Accrued company sick pay (up to 4 weeks)

What we are looking for in a Technical Support Lead…

  • Proven experience in technical support, preferably in the air source heat pump industry
  • Strong knowledge of air source heat pump systems, installation processes, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for remote support and troubleshooting
  • Have no unspent criminal convictions – must pass basic criminal record check
  • Proven eligibility to work in the UK
  • Willing to travel & work in other business locations as required
