 Health Visitor (Band 6/7)

Hunter Community Nursing are offering full-time and part time positions for a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Health Visitor in Dagenham.

Job Details:

  • Pay: £27-£30 per hour
  • Start: ASAP
  • Monday – Friday (8:30 – 5:30 shifts)
  • Full time and Part Time positions

Job Duties:

  • Maintain and update client records.
  • Caseload management
  • New birth visits
  • Clinics/clinical activities relating to health visiting.  
  • Advise and inform new parents on issues such as feeding (including breast feeding, infant feeding, weaning and healthy eating), sleeping, home safety, physical and emotional development, immunisation and other aspects of childcare.

Personal Specification:

  • Registered Health Visitor (band 6) with a current NMC pin
  • Must be a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse
  • Able to Drive
  • Experience working as a Health Visitor
  • Conscientious and passionate individual.
  • Has the Right to work in the UK.
  • Can supply adequate documents for compliance checks.
