Health, Safety and Environmental HSE Advisor
Job Role: Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Advisor
Area: Medway
Salary: £35k- £50k
My client is looking for an enthusiastic individual HSE Advisor to join their team to support site teams and management and to ensure effective relationships are maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring health and safety performance
- Establishing and maintaining company standards
- Maintaining and implementing relevant quality control procedures
- Developing and improving the company HSE systems
- Assisting in maintaining the companies accreditations and certifications
- Arrange training for company personnel and maintain the internal training.
- Review phase plans and RAMS upon request
- Update project and head office noticeboards as required.
- Arrange training for company personnel and maintain the internal training matrix.
- Complete statutory fire and premises management compliance inspections and tests as required and maintain records.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Full UK Driving licence (essential)
- DBS will be required.
- Relevant H&S experience gained in construction or a construction-related discipline (essential)
- Good knowledge of Outlook, word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to cope under pressure.
- Well spoken and written communication skills
