Currently Looking for a Health Care Assistants to work with Elderly, who may require one-to-one support , based in a care home West Drayton, West London The role is ongoing based on picking up shift bases

The Ideal Candidate will be:

  • Assisting residents with personal care and dressing
  • Assisting residents with incontinence needs
  • Assisting residents with repositioning - must be able to use required equipment - hoist, stand aid, slide sheet etc.
  • Assisting with food and fluids
  • Helping with laundry, cleaning, preparing meals
  • Record all relevant documents accurately - must have good verbal and written skills

Experience, Skills and Ability

  • • Proven relevant care work experience for at least 2 years in a care/residential home
  • • Proven experience of working within a team
  • • Demonstrable skills in leadership and supervision
  • • Good communication skills
  • • Numeracy and literacy skills
  • • IT skills including accessing and using the internet, email, and word
  • Current DBS and Valid Manual Handling Training required
