We are looking to recruit for a HSE Officer to work for our national company with travel across the UK.

Duties:

Support the development and implementation of the Group Health, Safety & Environment

Management (HSE) System in line with company expectations

HSE requirements for companies sites/businesses including development of local policies and procedures

Maintenance of records. Working with designated sites as appropriate.

Support of timely Accident/Incident and Good Save reporting, escalation, investigation and close.

Co-ordinate and support the project management of Group initiatives and projects.

Collation and reporting of data and input to management and key stakeholders including for

monthly performance meetings and reports.

Group sites as appropriate.

Support the businesses with regulatory compliance and certification including.

audits/inspections, responses, and corrective action plans.

Support the delivery of relevant training requirements.

Skills / Qualifications:

Graduate entry level will be considered.

Demonstrable experience in HSE role.

Relevant qualification in HSE e.g. NEBOSH Certificate.

Good working knowledge of HSE legislation.

Auditor Certified (e.g. ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 or equivalent) desirable.

Experience of auditing and compliance assessment processes desirable.

Benefits:

  • Salary - £35k
  • Bonus potential 10% -based on personal and company performance.
  • Car allowance - £4,200 per annum
  • Pension 4% ER & 4% EE
  • Death in service cover - 2 x salary
  • Holidays are 22 days rising to 25 after 3 years' service plus bank holidays.
