Health and Safety Manager

They are now seeking an exceptional Health and Safety Manager to develop their expertise and high standards in this area.

Reporting to the Operations Director, responsibilities will include:

• Devise, agree and implement necessary Health and Safety processes across all sites.
• Ensure all staff receive regular and appropriate H&S training.
• Ensure accurate and up to date Health and Safety records are kept.
• Take overall responsibility and compliance of the Company’s H&S
• Make sure staff are aware of the importance and follow safety protocol.
• Work with the leadership team to agree on safe working practices and processes.
• Advise as appropriate and required on all aspects of H&S
• Organize H&S training for staff as required, including first aid and fire safety.
• Oversee all "risk assessments" as required by legislation ensuring regular reviews.
• Conduct health and safety inspections and prepare reports and documents
• Identify areas where training/certification is required to
• Meet the standards imposed by Legislation, Approved Codes of Practice, or H.S.E guidance

Who are we looking for?

You must be a Health and Safety professional and be NEBOSH qualified. Previous experience in a similar role in warehousing or manufacturing environments would be an advantage.
