• Salary: £73,509 - £81,070 (L19 – L23)

We are excited to announce the opportunity for an experienced Headteacher to lead the creation, opening, and running of a new SEND Secondary School set to open in the summer term of 2025 in Horsham, West Sussex. • Play a key role in the redevelopment of the school building, ensuring it meets independent school standards and provides an amazing learning environment.
• Be accountable for all areas of operational and educational performance within the School, as well as its financial performance.
• Manage the recruitment and building of your entire team.
• Design and implement a brand-new curriculum aligned with our values.
• Lead a team that strives to give every student the confidence and opportunities to achieve their full potential in a calm and nurturing environment.

• Qualified Teacher Status with further professional qualification in a relevant area.
• Candidates with Headteacher qualification (such as NPQH) or a willingness to gain such a qualification preferred.
• Experience as a senior leader within an SEN environment.
• A clear understanding of Ofsted frameworks and Safeguarding legislation in relation to independent schools.
• Quality assurance experience.
• Team management experience.
• Superb communication and stakeholder management skills.
