Are you an experienced Pastry Chef looking for a Head Pastry Chef position for a new opportunity?

Reed are excited to be partnering with a Boutique Hotel in the Cotswolds to recruit a talented Head pastry Chef to join their team on a permanent  basis.

Due to the location you will need to be a driver.

Looking for an experienced Pastry Chef to lead a team  to  prepare and deliver signature desserts and afternoon tea served with a modern twist.

Within the role you will work 45 hours a week

The ideal candidate will have

  • Previous experience as pastry chef in a sous chef or head chef position
  • 2 years experience in a similar role  
  • Polite and professional
  • Ability to work under pressure of a busy kitchen .
  • Hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 and CIEH Level 2

The role-

  • Responsible for the overall running of the pastry area
  • To deliver a variety of dishes to a high standards
  • Ensures that the section operated effectively
  • Supporting the head chef in creating a supporting team environment  
  • Support the junior members of the kitchen with training and development
  • Ensure that the pastry operates effectively daily
