Head of Warehouse

We have partnered with a global organisation in the St Albans area to support with the recruitment of a Head of Warehouse.

It is imperative that you have risen through the ranks of a warehouse, and can evidence working knowledge of how each position operates.

If you are looking for a position to really make your own then look no further! We are looking for someone ambitious, ready to implement their own processes.

You will be managing a team of 14, across both the warehouse and spare parts department.

Daily tasks will include:

• Foster a positive work environment and provide growth opportunities.
• Ensure a safe workplace for all employees and visitors.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols.
• Develop effective inventory control measures.
• Monitor levels and facilitate efficient stock replenishment.
• Streamline warehouse processes to boost efficiency.
• Review and improve picking processes.
• Collaborate with management to achieve organisational goals.
• Provide insights based on warehouse operations expertise

Skills required:

• 10 years experience in a Warehouse environment, rising through the ranks to a Warehouse Manager / Head of Warehouse.
• Degree educated desirable
• Experience in "Best practice warehouse environments"
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
