Prospero Integrated are searching for a Head of Video to join one of the UK's leading technical event production companies.

The candidate will be responsible for leading our clients Video technical expertise across the group for a wide range of live events.
Responsibilities:
- Devise and advise colleagues and clients on technical Video solutions for a wide range of events.
- Provide advice, coaching and mentoring to colleagues on all Video elements
- Provide schematics, kit-listing and full budgeting/technical quotations as required
- Complete risk assessments and method statements for H&S compliance on each job
- Manage technical aspects of each job on site including hands on installation and operation of kit across a variety of disciplines as appropriate/required
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance by all technical staff on site
- Ensure all technical aspects of the job are completed to the high quality standard and finish
- Provide knowledgeable expertise on technical solutions for complex accredited venue spaces including plans for restricted get in times and protection of the venue
- Book, brief and manage freelance crew on site.
- Review feedback and work with Account/Project Managers to undertake debriefs after each job.
- Secure appropriate equipment, sub-hires & subcontractors or external suppliers as required
- Liaise with Asset Manager on Video equipment shortfalls, medium term hires, stock profitability and potential return on future purchases
- Present a professional image of the company at all times including being clean and tidy, wearing uniform appropriately and displaying professional behaviour at all times on site
Skills Required:
- Communicates well with a wide range of clients, crew and TETG colleagues across the group
- Robust and up to date specialist knowledge of Video kit, pricing and functionality
- Technical expertise in installation and operation of Video elements for live events
- Ability to resolve last minute problems on site quickly and pragmatically
- Highly developed on site technical production skills
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic, team player
- Computer literate with the ability to learn and assimilate new software
- Works effectively under pressure, giving clear direction during tight delivery timeframes
