Our client is a leader in Marketing, Communications & Printing, and following a significant business expansion is now recruiting and looking for a Head of Sustainability, a work from home role with some visits to the office.
The role of the Head of Sustainability is to manage the sustainability proposition and client audit process to existing and new clients.
 
Key responsibilities for the Head of Sustainability will include:
  
  • Working with the marketing team to refine and launch the new sustainability proposition and client audit process with existing client teams
  • Look at the relevant audit and tools needed to provide robust sustainability / carbon impact data to client accounts
  • Develop a set of processes and supporting documentation to support the sustainability offerings provided to clients
  • Continue to develop the overall sustainability proposition in line with market/client challenges
  • Work closely with the global direct supply chain team to establish a library of sustainability information/statistics/materials/sustainable innovations
  • Establish working relationships with key industry specialists
  • Build relationships with the client services teams at all levels and across all client sectors
  • Produce key metrics to demonstrate effectiveness of sustainability client audits
  • Provide information for use in case studies from successful client audits/projects
  • Develop basic understanding of the client ESG/environmental targets
  • Gain a detailed understanding of the environmental targets and statistics
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the background and benefits of being members of Ecovardis/Terra Carta etc
  • Understand the commercial impact of alternative sustainable suggestions and be confident in discussing these with the client
    
What we are looking for in the Head of Sustainability:
  
  • Experience within the Print industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-driven with proven strong organisational & administration skills with the ability to be delivery focused
  • Able to prioritise and manage workloads
