Head of Supply Chain

Head of Supply Chain based in Hertfordshire paying up to £60,000

Expanding Medical product manufacturer requires an experienced Head Of Supply Chain from a related industry business

Responsibilities

• End to End Purchase Order Processing: Overseeing and manaing the entire purchase order processing cycle for pharmaceutical products, ensuring accuracy an timeliness in purchase order processing
• Purchase Order Tracking and issue resolution: Track and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery. Resolve any issues that may arise from Group HQ or contract Manufacturers
• Weekly Inventory Forecast Updates and Meetings: Conduct weekly inventory forecast updates and participate in meetings. Discuss inventory levels and projections to facilitate efficient inventory management
• Batch Reconciliation for Recalls and Quarantine Processes: Maintain product quality and compliance with regulations
• Goods Inward Forecasting and Stakeholder Collaboration: Forecast and prioritise goods inward, collaborating with stakeholders in India to meet stock requirmeents efficiently. Manage communication and coordination with stakeholders to ensure smooth stock prioritisation
• Controlled Drug Licensing and Reporting: Manage controlled drugs licensing and record keeping/reporting. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements regarding controller substances
• Accurate Booking and Master Data Maintenance: Ensure accurate booking of goods inward and update SAP with the correct information. Maintain master data for products in SAP and third-party warehouse software to facilitate efficient inventory management

Skills required

• Pharma Supply Chain Knowledge and import expertise: Experienced in pharmaceutical supply chain management and import processes
• Excel Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and inventory management
• Multi-tasking and working under pressure: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in high pressure environments
