As the Head of Supply Chain, you will have the opportunity to contribute to their success by managing and optimising their supply chain operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives
• Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand forecasting, procurement, inventory management, and distribution
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and initiate actions to optimise supply chain efficiency and minimise costs
• Lead a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and integration of supply chain activities
• Evaluate and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong vendor relationships
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to identify opportunities for process improvements

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

• Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in the retail industry
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes and best practises
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in using supply chain management software and tools
• Strong communication and negotiation skills

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

• Experience implementing supply chain optimisation initiatives
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and logistics
• Familiarity with lean and Six Sigma principles

Technologies:

• Supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA, MRP)
• Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
