Core Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy: Providing direction and leadership for the Corporate Parenting Service, which encompasses fostering, adoption, looked-after children, and care leavers teams. They develop and implement strategies to improve outcomes for these vulnerable children and young people.
- Safeguarding and Wellbeing: Overseeing the delivery of high-quality social work services that prioritize the safety, emotional, and educational needs of children in care.
- Permanency Planning: Working towards finding permanent and stable homes for children in care, either through reunification with birth families or adoption and fostering placements
