This popular SEN School is looking to appoint a Head of School who will help shape the immediate and mid term future path that is taken over the next year or so. The school is an SEN school that has behavioural needs as its major focus and is looking to transform itself into one of the best schools in the South-East over the coming years. Starting at the earliest opportunity the school requires a Head of School who will have wide ranging responsibilities with a large focus on people management and pupil behaviour.

Essential requirements for this Head of School role:

• Strong Teaching background in Primary, Secondary or SEN settings
• Good management experience in SLT as an Assistant or Deputy
• Strong understanding of people management and how to deal with challenging behaviour
• Desire to help shape the future path of an improving school
• Understanding of the issues faced by children with SEN education
